ABOUT THE FOUNDER

 

Juliana Chakma L is an Indigenous woman from South Asia and a dedicated Interior Decorator, Designer, and Stager.

Raised in a humble family, Juliana developed a deep compassion for all living beings. Guided by this empathy, she founded Jummobi, a brand rooted in cruelty-free beauty, sustainable products, and a strong commitment to giving back to communities and the planet.

“Jummobi” means “woman of the hills.” Through it, Juliana proudly represents Indigenous women of South and Southeast Asia, sharing their rich patterns, art, and history with the world—while working to preserve and honor these cultural traditions.

Her mission extends beyond design and beauty. Juliana dreams of creating opportunities for the underprivileged and, through the Jummobi Foundation, honors her family’s legacy—especially her grandfather—by supporting animal welfare and environmental causes.
